ACTS is happy to announce our new password reset system. This new system allows members of the University of Bridgeport community with UBNet accounts to register an external email address to be used to unlock their account or reset the password on their account. To register, please visit https://identity.bridgeport.edu/register and sign in. After providing a recovery email address, you can visit https://identity.bridgeport.edu/reset in order to unlock your account or reset your password. Over the next few weeks, we will also be rolling out a password reset tool to all University-owned computers running Windows. By clicking on the words “Problems logging in?” on the login screen of any computer with the tool installed, the password reset tool will come up and will allow you to unlock your account or reset your password.
This is just the beginning, and we will be improving, expanding, and customizing this system over time.
